Heading to the west coast for a very special event, John Mayer arrived at LAX Airport on Wednesday (April 17).
The "Gravity" singer was dressed casually in a navy blue coat, blue button-down shirt, ripped jeans, and tan boots as he made his way outside.
On Thursday, the 35-year-old musician will induct blues legend Albert King into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
At the 28th Annual Ceremony, John will also strap on a guitar to perform a tribute to the inductee with Gary Clark Jr. When asked why he thinks King deserves the honor, Mr. Mayer said, "Because whether he’s a household name or not doesn’t matter. He’s like a household sound. He’s had a profound influence on guitar players – let’s say guitar players who solo – the world around. His influence comes through loud and clear, and can’t be diluted."
