Gearing up for next month's ceremony, MTV announced the nominations for the 2013 MTV Movie Awards on Tuesday (March 5).
Awards host Rebel Wilson and MTV News' Josh Horowitz started off the nomination spectacular by announcing the most coveted Golden Popcorn award for Movie of the Year.
Making for fierce competition, this year's top honors will be between "The Avengers," "The Dark Knight Rises," "Django Unchained," "Silver Linings Playbook" and "Ted."
Horowitz was later joined by "Jersey Shore" star Jenni “JWoww” Farley, along with the cast of "Teen Wolf," Vinny Guadagnino and many more to announce the other nominees and new categories, like Best Shirtless Performance and Best Musical Moment.
From April 8-12th, cast members from the summer's upcoming hottest movies will appear every night at 11:00ppm ET for a 30 minute interview before the big live show on April 14th at 9:00pm ET.
