He’s poised to explode onto the pop music scene with his new album Trespassing, but that’s just half of Adam Lambert's 2012 offerings.
According to a report, the “American Idol” alum will also have an old album called Beg For Mercy released by Colwel Platinum Entertainment, though he’s not happy about it.
Beg for Mercy was recorded before Adam’s “Idol” success, and Colwel sued Lambert for the rights to be able to release it, per a past contract with the “For Your Entertainment” singer.
A statement from Colwel reads, "The Colwel Platinum Entertainment lawsuit against Adam Lambert has been resolved. Adam has withdrawn any objections to the release of 'Beg For Mercy' and he has approved the use of his songs and performances in these pre-'Idol' recordings which are interpretations of his artistic vision at the time. Neither Colwel Platinum Entertainment, Inc. nor Malcolm Welsford ever stated that Adam was not eligible to participate in American Idol when he did so and regret that the lawsuit's allegations were misinterpreted."
